Thanksgiving – Where to Eat in London

November – can you believe it is already almost over and Christmas is fast approaching. November if you are from North America is all about Thanksgiving – the last Thursday in November and when the holiday season kicks off.

We aren’t actually American, but growing up so close to the country we always had the food drives, we were taught in school about the holiday, reasons to be grateful and of course the large Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, I think you get the picture. Coming over to the UK however, finding places that serve Thanksgiving dinner was a challenge. So we have rounded up a few of the top places this Thanksgiving that will be serving up the classic American meal.

Christopher’s – This is one of our favourite restaurants especially their brunch menu. This Thanksgiving however they are serving up the classic roast turkey, but their menu includes something for all – from Rack of Lamb and Steak to a veggie option of vegetable and mushroom flan. At £55 for 3 courses it is a bit pricey, but you will leave feeling satisfied.

Big Easy – An all American Seafood and BBQ restaurant. For Thanksgiving they will be serving either Turkey (with all the trimmings) or a Lobster fest. With three locations across London, we are sure you can find yourself at their dining table. Priced at £30 (or £10 more for Lobster) for 3 courses your stomachs will be full and your pocket book won’t hate you.

Balthazar – A New York Brasserie. This place has been on our list of restaurants to try for ages. Located in Covent Garden, this Thanksgiving they are offering a three course meal, turkey and cod are on the menu and it is priced at £55.

Brewhouse & Kitchen – If you are looking for something a bit more casual and fun, the Brewhouse & Kitchen in Islington is offering up on Thanksgiving tastings of 5 American craft beers and a 2 course turkey meal for £29.95 per person. Dinner is at a set time and tickets are limited so book in fast.

Which place do you fancy this Thanksgiving? Also, let us know if you have any other Thanksgiving recommendations.
